The Acme Papers
	It's Richard Florence's fault. He bugged me for over a year to write a comprehensive history of the Acme Comics Group for the web, and he should've known that if I ended up doing it, I would end up over-doing it. And so I have, and so I have. Before going on, you might want to read the warnings at the bottom of this page. If you don't, I warned you.

Why		did I spend over a decade of my adult life working with drones, proles, false prophets, the great unwashed, and other dregs of counter-anticulture to produce a boxful of questionably competent comic books					?

Who					are the afore-mentioned "people" who spent countless hours hunched over drafting stands, ottomans, or kitchen tables, scritching away on sketchpads, only to suffer my jibes, chides, insults, and dictatorial edicts every month					?

What		are the pulpy, pretentious, pricy publications we tried to perpetuate on an unprepared public					?

When					did this tragic waste of perfectly servicable pulp paper transpire					?

Where		did we dare venture in public to mingle with like-minded dorks					?
